My first blog.... hmmm. What can I tell you?

I am not really a "computer person", but for some reason (Andrea) I have become addicted to this, and felt the urge to have my own spot.

I guess the other thing is that I need an outlet. I find myself in a country where I have no real friends and a lot to talk about. My phone bills are out of control because I have no self-restraint when it comes to calling my "girls" just to chat. And so begins my blog.....

A Saturday spent doing nothing. I love days like that, but always kick myself on Monday when I have to go back to work and I feel like I have accomplished nothing. Well, I guess I did do this and I certainly put a big dent in the jigsaw puzzle I'm working on. I can't believe what a geek I have become.

I caught a friend on Messenger...she was just coming in from a club and was apparently very drunk. She said "hi" and then something incoherrent and then, "I gotta go. Bye." And like that she was gone. Strange. That's my friend, Chantal. Her and I have known each other for about three years. Feels longer than that...we've been through a lot of changes together. It's nice to have a friend like that, you don't always need to give them background information about stuff.

I should go and enjoy the fresh air...it's about 32 degrees here. I love that. I so don't miss the snow and sleet that Toronto is getting this weekend.
